Man, I placed my order for my 42S on March 20th (I believe), and I am still waiting to get it....i bet the day I get it i'll be a very happy man....


BTW...i think i may have missed this, but did benchmade change the multicolored 42A to a solid blue, or are both available??

I never

thought I'd see the day.. just a year or so ago I woudl gladly and proudly stick my neck out for BM when the other forumites woudl bitch on their Quality Control. And never have I been so pissed as yesterday (well in the last week anwyays sic i always get pissed

). I FINally get my 2 BM42's from one stop.. happy happy joy joy one of them is 'passable' but the other one (the one I chose to be my user) turns out that the latch seems overground, lopsided and warpoedout of shape.. now WTF is up with that?! 1it looked liek the latch was made by a malaysian slave in nebraska!!!! And to say the finish on the handles is not smooth either.

THere is no justice.

on the flip side...if I had a shoddy BM42 I would rather wait till october...because by the time you send it back and get a new one...you're waiting longer anyway and youre frustrated....just my 2 cents
