I'm waiting for a satin finish Steel Heart E with the camo (snake skin) handles. This is my first Busse, and I am very exited. I am getting a custom leather sheath made for it (sorry, but I can't mention the maker, I've been sworn to secrecy) of superior quality.

I'm waiting for three knives:

1) Pepper Shaker, with black coating

2) Satin Jack variant, recurved, with "flat primary grind, deep dish hollow along the clip, with serrations, blended and reinforced BAT, Snake Skin micarta handle, flying handle spine, and satin finished with a zero edge".

3) Steel Heart variant, with straight handle, 3/16", "bowie style", with satin finish and a nifty grind that's hard for me to describe.

The credit card is already paid off, but I may have to resist the temptation to eat for the next few months.

It should be a good week for UPS deliveries.

Right now, just an Assault Shaker.

Ordered on 3/20/02 and was told a 3-4 week wait. Been about five already and I'm getting antsy... :p
 
Me too DonL, 'cept mine was ordered on/around 3/15. I did rcv an email back from Tina today stating they should ship this wk. Hope ours is in the batch headed out. I understand Jerry has upgraded our batch of Shakers to "Pepper" shakers to compensate for the delay.




OK, I lied, Jerry said nothing of the kind in a conversation I had with him, but one can dream can't one?:D
 
As a "newbie" to the Busse Forum I have a couple of "Assault Shakers" and a ZT Battle Mistress coming from other Forumites.

I just have a Straight Handle Nuclear Heart Variant and a Paul's Hatchet on order so far from Wauseon :(

Anybody have "inside news" on when they may be shipping? I ordered mine the first day they were offered. :cool:

My days are filled with waiting on Mr. Brown socks to deliver the following:

SJLE (second one;))
SH-E crown butt variant
SH-E satin and snake skinned
AA CG
KB CG variant
SJ CG variant

and I'm saving my pennies for:

SH-E variant of my own demise,... er, I mean DESIGN:p
SH-E variant #2 of my own design
and maybe a FM LE 20th anniversary edition.

I heard some may have shipped last Friday or possibly today. Don't know if they were Satin or Black finished ones though.

I hoping to see mine soon also. :D:D
