Forgive me, I know this general topic has been discussed, but I just purchased an expensive piece of vintage Westinghouse micarta, and shortly thereafter learned about asbestos being used by Westinghouse in the past. The seller doesn't think this micarta contains asbestos, but isn't sure. If anyone with experience can comment, I'd greatly appreciate it.
