Guys -

I just want to say I am sorry for my posts on this forum as of late.

I have been dealing with some tough times at home. Wife and I have been going thru some serious tough times. So I tried to solve this with good ole whiskey. What a mistake.

I look back thru what I typed, and I cant believe that is me. Bearhunter, Lane4, bunch of others, I am sorry for being a d**k. I have no excuse, and I expect no sympathy. I look and see that I gave Memphis a hard time, and he is one of the nicest guys on here. I will try and apologize in each thread that i was an azz in, and if i miss one, i apologize again.

If I was you guys I would kick my teeth in.

So I have nothing. All I can say is that I am sorry. I have made some great contacts thru this forum, it has been way way more than I expected. The knowledge, questions, etc, are top notch. And here I come to ruin everything.

So I apologize again for everything. This forum means more to me than you guys would believe, and to come on here and type the stuff I did, believe me, when I look back, it makes me sick. So that means I am sick. So I need help. And I will get it.

So I am going to take some time off from this forum and some other things in order to get stuff in order. I apologize to everyone here. BMC, Memphis, Pipe, Steve, Lane4, bearhunter all come to mind as of late. Sorry guys, sorry to everyone.

This isnt a get out of jail free card, and I know it. All I ask is that you guys say - "Operator - what an a**hole overall, though I hope he makes it"

No offense taken here (as stated in our PM). Do what you need to do to help yourself feel better but this Axe/Hatchet forum will be severely lacking without you here, so dont be gone long!

Everyone here is pretty thick-skinned, so I doubt anyone got too bruised. Good on you for posting the apology though! It's not an easy thing to do. :cool::thumbup:

I'm new here so I can't claim to know any more about you than you do about me, but I can say, Godspeed in your troubles and I wish you the best. Good luck and take care. I look forward to reading your posts in the future.

I am very glad you came out on this, I have been on BladeForums for quit a while and just started hanging out here more often lately.
I was this >II< close the other day of sending you an email asking if that's just the way you are or if you were just a *ick?

Glad you're not the latter... Take a breather and prayers your way that everything work out for the best.

You sound like a class act Operator, I hope you get your troubles worked out. I always find my spirits lifted by a good wood splitting session. I like to take a fresh split every once in a while, hold it right up to my nose and inhale deeply. Seems weird and my wife says I look like a psycho but it's like prozac to me.;)
 
Hey Mike, wasn't offended personally, and it sounds like if anyone was, that you are now forgiven. Hopefully you will forgive yourself too, move forward, do what you need to do, and get back into the swing of things (lousy pun). Good luck.
 
hey operator, this took guts! no hard feelings here. as was stated above by others, i think were all pretty 'thicked skinned' around here...

i was wondering what had happened... because it sure didnt seem to be you...
im sorry to here about your trouble. my wife and i went through some hard times awhile back... i turned to the bottle as well, so i know how you feel...
we got thru it and have a better relationship as a result... trust me, you guys can make it work too...
i actually got banned from a forum during that time, because i let my personal issues along with 'the bottle' do the talking for me... bad mistake...

again, no hard feelings here, just work on yourself and your relationship... just dont give up...
man, this really hits home with me... i'll be thinking of you...

Don't sweat it, Operator. We've all been there. You've been a great asset to these forums and it's good to see that you have the fortitude to man up and recognize a problem. I only hope I could do as well.
 
Everybody has bad times man..Dont worry about..Obviously you feel bad about it and want to make it right..Thats what matters :thumbup:

Bah! Dammit 42, you just took the joke I was going to post! Hope everything works out for you Op -- really did take a lot to get on here and make that post. As a lurker, I certainly look forward to you coming back soon and sharing your knowledge with the rest of us.
