Just got in. Good times. . . .good times. . . .Enjoyed the tow. Ohio's back roads didn't quite weather the winter as well as one would've hoped.

On my way back from Toledo I picked something up (someone's old exaust pipe) that trashed my steering and ability to do anything but veer to the right (into the ditch). Luckily I was in a "dead cell" zone so I was unable to get my cell phone to do anything but give me a "signal faded" message.!!! Gotta love those dead zones.

Had a nice conversation with a couple of very unfriendly junkyard dogs. Nearly introduced two of them to some sharpened INFI in an impromptu "snoutanectomy". ;) Once I got past them, it turned out that nobody was home anyway. Luckily some highschool kids like this county road for its "remoteness". Caught a ride, made a call, got towed, need a beer!!!!

Sorry boys!!!! I called Eric as soon as I realized how late it was. My apologies to those who hung out waiting for the Tali-Whacker. I'll throw something special in on the offer tomorrow night to make up for the inconvenience. It will be between 8:00pm and 9:00pm EST.

Now where's my CBL????

Jerry

Just glad nothing really bad happened Jerry. We had a few unhappy folks, but they decided to take a walk.

Jerry,

Me thinks you should return to the house with the dogs and skin em'! Then use the skins for moccasins to throw in with the offer;) .... I could use a new set of house shoes:D

Exhaust pipe? damn! Was hoping you took out a skunk, oh well.

Something extra? You mean like a free 10" subhilt with every taliwhacker? :D

Just glad that you're okay. Don't know what I'd do on Saturday nights without all the clicking chaos:D

Jerry

Makes us sound like some nympho hookers or something:eek:

Nympho hookers?!? where......:D

Jerry, I think all agree, if there ain't no Jerry, there aint no INFI!

Glad you are home safe...

Glad to see you survived the ordeal, now if I can just figgure out how to finagle out of another commitment tomorow at posting time:( :(

It wasn't that those people weren't home, they are just selective about when they answer the door....:D ;) :p :p

Now Jerry, were you racing trains again? @ 95 MPH a muffler will do some real damage;) Glad your O.K.

Jeff

Jeff,

I think it might have been the muffler off of a train . . . or a school bus. . . this thing was at least the size of a telephone pole . . . of course everytime I recount the story the pipe gets bigger. . . must be because I haven't had time to go fishin' in a while. . . Wait 'til I go fishin' this spring and you get to hear those stories

By tomorrow I'll be tellin' the story of how I ran over a corn silo that was lying near the side of the road!!!! ;)

Jerry,
Glad you're home ok. What surprises me is that you didn't have an emergency survival cooler of CBL in the back. A satellite phone would be nice also but if you have your emergency CBL not as necessary.

How did a silo get in the road????

Wet

Wet,

Looks now like it might have been a freight train that was stuck on the tracks. I didn't see it and accidentally ran over it!!!!

They really shouldn't leave those things just lying around like that!!! ;)
