I'm reading through all the books on knifemaking. In his collaboration, Bob Loveless suggests to begin with putting together knives that are in kit form. (And who am I to argue with a GOD?

I'm looking for well designed folder kits of "tactical" type knives and eventually a nice Bowie kit. I HAVE looked at some advertisers' on BF. Nothing has grabbed me though. Any suggestions as to where I should look?
My apologies for posting this question here.

I've had more paper cuts than cuts from knives, but the knives are QUICKLY gaining!

Try the Texas Kneifmakers supply catalog.

I'm not a big fan of the folders they have listed, but they have some neat looking fixed blades. Their webpage has a downloadable catalog in PDF form, but the printed version is worth getting.. makes for good bathroom reading trying to figure out what project you want to do

You might try asking in the "Shop Talk" forum, which is located under the "General" heading. Good luck.
