Agree here. Whatever price you paid (is it worth what you paid, more, or less) and how cool it is -- that is all up to you.

I had one for a number of years. Very cool toy, something to fiddle with while watching TV or something. Not recommended as a user due to their scarcity. They certainly are cool, and I'd like to have another one some time in the future.

Having putzed a bit with composites, MP-45 appeared, to me, anyways, to be a high-performance composite with properties similar to, perhaps, something like the micartas and G-10s, but obviously not the same. Without having a couple for analysis, however, it would be hard to draw firm comparisons.
