Tanto looks very close to that of my Microtech, but doesn't sport the triangular hardware.

No I mean tanto. The far right is a tanto blade. It says it right on the box of the real Microtech Ultratech I just purchased.

I have Ultratech tanto, doesnt look like it to me. I sure do not like Ultratech tanto, more important for me is i hate the rounded front of its handle. These tantos are more to my taste, but i wonder about the handle design, coz even a scarab isnt that cool to me.

definitely some Chinese made junk there...bet the blades wiggle like a hula dancer. Lucky if the handles are made of melted pots and pans, but if it makes you happy then ignore me and spend your $$$
