Hi Everybody,

SOrry to have been so scarce the last month or two. Started a new job where I didn't know a damn thing and have finally gotten to the point where I sort of do;) Also I was trying to go to Aikido, kayak, hike, camp and spend time with my family AND friends all at once!!! Classic candle at both ends kind of thing I guess.

Anyhow, I've really been missing all my HI friends so I'm going to try and make it in here more often. I may dissapear for a few days at a time but hopefully not weeks at a clip:)

Sorry to anyone whose important posts I may have missed---I need to search a few pages back and see what's happening with everybody.

Heh heh...You and AC are walking similar trails. He e-mailed late last night from a truck stop in Waythehellandgone, Wyoming - He and his trainer had run out of logged hours on their way to Salt Lake with a load of paper towels :rolleyes: The weather forecast was for snow today, and they were chafing at the bit to get back on the road before the weather locked them in for the weekend. Buddy the Wonderdog (I wonder if he is really a dog, or a leprechaun in a shaggy suit) has established a ruling position amongst the pack here.

The only thing you really missed was Bruise's and Yvsa's "shower"...:eek:

Sounds like he's pretty busy too.. Is AC training to drive big rigs?? Last I heard he was shooting for the newspaper? Please give me an update-you can email if you'd rather.

I don't know about that, but they sure as hell have put a smile on my face many a time when I needed one, and given me some great laughs!:D I think that's probably MORE valuable actually....

:D:D That's a good question! There's a song lyric from a 90's song (can't remember the title or band) that says "I'm a thousand different people from one day to the next..." Ever feel like that? I feel like that lately except with the core intact.

Well like I said started a new job and I really like it! Great people--truly great--the kind of folks you'd love to hang out with even if you had a choice:) Its like working in the Cantina (without all the great Khuks;))

Other than that just kayaking whenever I can, Aikido, hiking (did a 20 mile section of the AT in Maine on Tuesday--SORE LEGS AND FEET!!!!!!)Camping, and trying to spend time with my wife and two daughters!

It is good to hear that you are back within the fold. I missed you and sort of wondered what was up with you. It is good to hear that your life is taking good turns. I hope we hear more from you. Any pictures to show us of your new family member??

No pictures scanned yet, but maybe I'll get my butt in gear and get on that project soon--but the way things are going I wouldn't hold your breath:D
