Sorry Uncle Bill

I just received my BAS blem, 15 Sirupati blem, and my 18" Sher AK. I must say I feel as though I have stolen from Uncle Bill. I can't see anything wrong with the Sirupati and there is a TINY tiny crack in the handle of the BAS. I'm not sure what to do with it the crack is so small I don't think it could take any epoxy. Suggestions?
When I first picked up the box I thought Uncle Bill shipped me a load of rocks. The AK itself weighs over 3 pounds- it is a monster. I was extremely impressed with this knife- it is amazing. It holds an edge very well its hardening is excelent. The scabbard looks great and has a superfrog. I could go on about this knife but don't want to make the other two look like they have any shortcomings but the AK is great. Specs on the Ak are as follows: 3pounds 3 onces, 11/16" spine, and just a hair over 18" in length. I haven't had time to really test it out besides splitting some logs in the back yard. But I did split a Coke can in half- this just looked like a neat test, nothing happened to the blade(it was just as sharp and just as pretty). When I get some time I'm going to try and beat this knife up. Thank you very much Uncle Bill absolutly fantastic knives!!

Sorry about paying only $50 for the BAS and Sirupati.

Just saying you're sorry isn't good enough -- you must make amends! And there's only one way you can make amends to poor old Uncle Bill for cheating him out of those khukuris -- you must buy another of his khukuris!

Of course you'll feel guilty about that deal, too, but that's okay ... you can make amends for it ...

Thanks for report from the field, LR.

We try to make sure the HI khukuris we ship as first line are as close to perfect as one can get. Our rather harsh QC makes for a fair number of blems which are very close to perfect.

Bottom line. Don't be afraid to buy a blem.

Day-um, Cougar, that's two today. I'm going to have to start charging you for cleaning supplies for my monitor. "Eye-of-the-dove cho" on a Shabaria, indeed!
