I wanted to apoligise to all the people who offered me knives to buy or trade that ive had a lack of communication or having decline offers. Ive only been able to do one trade. Ive been busy with the process of enlisting in the military and that has kept me extremly busy the past few weeks, as well as i just found out a familiy member has stage two pancratic cancer so ive sold all my knives traded 1 and ive had to sell almost all my belongings just to help them to get by so again im sorry for turning down offers or lack of communication. Hopefully all gets well soon and ill be able to get everything in order.

On to the good news i am in The us army as 31Bravo or military police. I leave to go to basic at ft lynerwood missouri june 29 next year. Thanks yall Wish me luck. Back in the day it was Fort Lost in the Wood.

Other than an Arby's, a trailer park, and a flea market there was not much else.

Dang is it that bad? Lol ;)

Our DI had us pile rocks ten feet high around a telephone pole, then move the pile to the next pole, and the next, etc. It was 16 weeks of hell. And if you got off base, grifters were waiting for the young, fresh fish. Still, had a lot of fun, but that was almost fifty years ago. Good luck, young man.

Thank you:D

I spent three months there in 1968. There's a little town named Waynesville right outside the base. No one under 50 lives there.

Good old Ft. Leonard Wood. I remeber it well. Did boot and AIT there. Combat Engineer.

It is what it is and it serves it's purpose. Go in determined to do and learn and make the best of it. What you learn there will be the foundation you will build on for some years to come. Good luck and thank you for choosing to serve.

now that you are in the army by law you get 15% off your cell phone bill
