I don't know, offhand, if your membership level offers the option of showing an avatar...but here's how to do it:
Click on Settings (found in the upper right hand corner of the page)
Scroll down to My Settings (found on left side of the page)
Click on Edit Avatar
You will then have the option of using the URL of the image (if it is posted/hosted online) or loading the image from your computer
Don't forget to click Save Changes when you are done
