Sorry about the sarki shop post, I wasn't sure about the rules.
Nasty
I'll contact You, Yang Du or Yvsa about the rules.
I had alot of good times with Uncle Bill . We had some long talks on the phone and alot of laughs. I'm glad i got to know Uncle Bill and Yang Du and I really enjoyed their visits here at the house. I never could drink any of that green beer though :D
God Bless.

I know Terry...I've sent emails to both of them as well...there are some things we might be able to do and I want to find out what they are for sure. You have been a very positive presence here and I want to keep that going. Please believe me...my locking that post hurt me more than it did you. *I* am sorry that I had to. We'll be in touch my friend...

offer withdrawn..

Welcome back Terry!

Probably best to leave this one to others Dan...

Not that I hadn't considered the same thing myself.

Nasty, when I read Terry's post this morning I thought about donatinng to get him a paying membership also. Come to think of it, I miss being Gold.....

Am sure you guys will work something out. Last I knew Terry was an official repair shop for HI so IMO having his info on this forum should be okay. But then again I'm not a mod. :foot:

Terry does have a little history with HI:D ...

Here's one from the archives that some might not be aware of:

M-43 model by Terry Sisco. Pix.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, there it is. About 17.5 overall length, 1/4 inch thick, blade width about 2.5. Steel bolster and buttcap.

If you want one sign up in the other thread.

Nice work, Terry.

Yep, a little history with HI.

Thanks for the offers guys,
I'm going for the platinum membership as soon as i can.
Berk,
I let the first H.I. M-43 made out of my hands quite awhile back. I regret selling that one. I wish I had Her back.:(
God Bless.

Terry,
I let the very first HI kothimoda, hand-carried back from Nepal by Uncle Bill, and a Ganga Ram Special, made by Ganga Ram, both slip away, so I know how you feel:( . They'll have to pry the original Berk Special from my cold, dead fingers, though:D .
Berk

Berk,
I think I'd have that one buried with me if it were mine. The Berk special is a NICE KHUK!!
God Bless.

Terry - The $10 membership allows signatures, in which websites can be listed...if that helps. Even with Platinum membership...sales now have to be conducted in the Exchange. Might be worth considering...and you should know that the word of mouth traffic we will generate for your skills will send you more work than you will easily handle.

Nasty,
Thanks for the info. I'm gonna get that a membership soon. It's good to be back!!!
The only bad part about being back is there are khukuris everywhere! The temptation to go into horrible debt to buy them all is overwhelming!!!!!:D
God Bless.

Terry, the M-43 was the one you sold to me some years ago, I believe. It recently took up residence with Bladite, who is
an excellent custodian. So, at least it's still in the Family!

BTW - the Sarki Shop is also listed on the HI webpage on the links page. Also, Terry, your website seems to still have a 'not open for business' sign on it...

Beoram,
My new computer doesn't seem to like the site. I'm working on removing the closed sign.
Bladite,
The M-43 pattern is one of my favorites. I'm glad it has a good home.
God Bless.
