I did a little knapping with glass. You never know when civilization is going to collapse and you need a good arrowhead.

Of all the garbage we leave behind, glass is one of the things that remains the longest, it's slightly comforting to know that one component of our abundant trash may useful in the future no matter how bad things get.

One of the local guys goes totally primitive for bow season. His bow, arrows, and clothing are completely his own manufacture, including knapped skinning knives and arrowheads. I sent him the site, and his reply was "Yeah, I saw that". Ticked me off, so I asked if if wife had to chew the leather for his mocs...."Not now, that the kids are older". I thought it was a cool site.
