So im trying to get a sheath from David Brown made for my SOS NMFBM. I dont have any way to measure it exactly but I do know that it's been said its .27 thick. He asked me "Doesn’t that one have magnum orange g-10 scales ? if yes they are going even wider ?" And I do not know the answer to that ?. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks in advance!

Also, could just be the pics, but does that NMFBM have yellow liners? If so, it will be thicker.

Edit: BTW, like the collection so far

Great bunch of knives! Thanks for the pic... very cool.

I'd mail the knife if you want a PERFECT fit. Otherwise you might be a bit disappointed. As you know, all Busse's have slight differences in thickness that can affect the tight fit that kydex provides. Too tight, well... that sucks. Too loose... it rattles... and on such nice knives you don't want either.

Dave Brown is to kydex what Charlie Daniels is to fiddle. Good choice...

Thanks for the replies all! Yes. I forgot to mention. It does have yellow liners. I've gotten my kydex from
David for every knife I've got so far. ( just added a MBC and am in love) I would send it in for a perfect fit but I hate not having my knives. Maybe I'll just do that though. What would y'all do? I guess since it is a knife with diff specs than the norm I should just send it.

I have gotten boxes of sheaths from Dave and he is great. On a big knife such as this I would send it in escpecially considering the variance in stock thickness on the NMFBM and the liners added.

I said it long ago and its still true....Dave is the Picasso of Kydex:cool: Have him carve it up:thumbup::)

Great. Send it in I will. Now! One last ? For y'all. I got taco for my basic 10 and my brother got pancake. I was very happy with my choice. I like to stay as low profile as possible ( is that even possible with a nmfbm?? :) ) I wanted the pancake so I could attatch things to wear it over the shoulder. But I began to think I can just get taco and fashion something to make it work. I know this is a personal choice but I figured some of yall may have ran into this dilemma already.

Low Profile? Not sure a bandolero will give you much advantage there unless you wear a loose jacket over it. I would rather carry my NMFBM in my pack if it's not in my hand

Thanks yall for the replies.. I sent the knife in and am getting a taco desert acu.. I figured if I need to make an over the shoulder setup I can just use some paracord through the rivets and make it work.. will post pics when in hand.. also have a pancake and taco for the MBC coming.. thanks yall.
