Same old stuff. This is a little blade that I forged from the saw steel that Chuck Brooks had sent me several months ago. Thought I'd better turn it into a knife before this blade ended up getting totally misplaced and while I remembered what the heck I made it from. The blade is 3 3/4" long, guard is wrought iron which Chuck had also sent me, the butt cap is out of some old iron that Wayne had given me. Come to think of it the stag came from Wayne in a care package right after I started making again after the fire. Overall the knife is 7 1/2". The stag was professionally colored at my spa. :D

Man I have got to say that I may very well like your knife designs better than anybody else I have seen. I love the lines, the materials, the proportions. Your stuff seems to strike the balance perfectly between art and a tool. I could see both EDCing your designs or putting them under glass with equal success.

Bravo sir!

Quentin, One of the nicest comments I have ever had! It is much appreciated....

Beautiful knife and looks like it would be a user, too.

I normally don't like stag handles, but I like this one.

That is a great looking knife for sure! The wrought iron fittings are just right!

I like that little piece Ray, looks like a great carry size, and the stag color turned out great.

it's a beautiful piece. Like it was made from the root ball of the tree of knowledge.

Ray,
You do have a way with the iron fitting, great blade proportions and solid user handle all coming together in a finely tuned way. Great work.

Ray, I think it is great how you take your miscellanous steel and handle material laying around and put together such nice end products!

"Before I forget what this steel is, I think I'll take some of that old iron and that piece of stag Wayne sent me and..." Cool beans! Love the finished piece.

That batch of Puukkos Ray did (I say that like I know him which I do not) were just too much to...just too wonderful. Now this Hunter. The kind of knives he makes are why I am into knives.
