Looks delicious Mist. Keep them coming!
Thank you Nathan, there is more coming. I hate that it took me so long to get back to it but life has been really complicated since Lisa and I split up in January. Just the divorce and trying to keep Alayna's life as stable as possible in the process took up a lot of space in my head, but then there was me quitting smoking and and fearing being around the pipes and tobacco, and me losing weight and fear of being around that much food lol. Then in June I messed up my leg really bad and uneven ground has been extremely painful until recently. But I think Alayna is settling into things now, and seeing me happier and healthier has been helpful in her understanding why things needed to change. This is the first time I've been in a good enough mood to actually make a pot of soup, much less photograph it since 2013 in Michigan. The leg is feeling a bit better now. I haven't had a cigarette in over 9 months and don't crave them, even when I'm around smokers smoking. And I have figured out a system for using the foods as my regular meals now rather than as something extra. I've lost over 70 pounds and I do not want to gain that back.
Now that I have finally gotten my head back, and have had some very special friends help with inspirations, and had someone very special help with unlocking my heart again, I've been back to doing a lot of experiments recently with lighting and color.
Alayna and i went foraging this weekend. First time in the woods in months. The ankle hurt like hell afterwards, but it didn't throb that night when I laid down so I was able to skip the NSAIDs which was a nice change. She loves persimmons and muscadines.
So...not really up to running races again yet, but back in the saddle again at least. You'll be seeing something familiar pop up soon
...
yea!
and the photo's in "The Road to Friday" works again
Thank goodness!! That is the exact reason I didn't just give up the fight and go with Fotki. I had paid for the services and I was really hoping for them to hold up their end of the bargain. I was going to re-write that through Fotki if I had to, but I didn't want to if I could avoid it and shouldn't have had too.
Good to see you returning to your project Mist
Bill
Thank you Bill, it was a rough year, but I think I have a handle on things again now
To Reiterate glad to see you back on task with the middle earth project.m The colors look great on this end as my salivary glands are overworking!!...Love that Gaucho...I finally managed to get one! Gotta make soup today! Thanks Brian!!
Thanks Douglas, it's nice finally having my head back and my feeling my heart again

The Gaucho is a fantastic model, probably my overall fav Fiddleback all things considered. It's the perfect time of year for soup too. Man I love Autumn!!
