I'd like a simple good sounding cd type player that maybe can be plugged into my tv for better sound from the tv. I don't have an HD or anything like that. I've always liked the looks of the Bose wave, my managing partner has one and it sounds good and seems "simple". Bose seems to be really overpriced though. I don't understand how the Bose can sound good without separate speakers. I have limited room and don't want to mess around with a lot of set up.

I am no audiophile, just looking for a better sound and sometimes on friday night I like to crank AC\DC before the wife gets home!

Bose are very nice systems. They sound very good and are very small. Of course for the same money you can get a Sony Home Theater system.

I have had a Tivoli Model one for many years. I am always amazed at the sound that comes from it, I plug my Ipod into it. But I see on their website they make a model with a CD player. Check em out. Little pricey but I think cheaper then Bose. And I think the Tivoli Looks Way Classy

I have the Tivoli Two with add on sub... very nice clear system.

I personally skipped the CD component since it has a Aux In feed and I can run in a CD player or Ipod.

Also I opted for the cherry wood model...beautiful case. Solid cherry no plastic wood-tone crap... real honest to goodness cherry that has darkened nicelly with age.
