Look what I just found on ebay...

-No link here! What are you talking about?-

A Becker bk6 patrol machete! Thought I would bring this to your attention, as I'm sure there is a Beckerhead in need of one. Anyways, whoever gets it should send me a used Becker. You know, finders fee ;) Anyways, I hope one of you wins. Have at it!

Hey Serin. We appreciate the heads up but you cant post links to live ebay auctions. Its considered deal spotting because too many people have tried promoting their own for sale items here without the proper membership.

You might want to edit your post and remember not to post links to anything for sale that does not advertise here. It can get you an infraction.

Very interesting tip though. In the future it might be better to drop a hint in the Beckerhead chat thread without the link, we can sniff it out ourselves. :)
 
Aaah, sorry. I didn't think it would be dealspotting because it was ebay. By the way, the seller is definitely not me. If I was lucky enough to have a Patrol Machete, I would use it and NOT sell it. Thanks for the heads up B.Mauser.
 
It's fine. All that they'll usually do is give you a warning; I got two warnings before I got the message...:o In my defense, the warning that I got first was for a thing that I had just posted; my second warning was for a post that I had made weeks earlier.
 
The mods have already passed through and didn't say anything to you after the edit, I'd say you're ok. Good looking out though. You can give heads up in the snark thread as long as you don't post a link.
