Source for 1"x30" sanding belts??

Hello Gentlemen,

Great forum. Long time lurker, first time poster

I am having a hard time finding a decent selection of 1"x30" sanding belts. Anyone have any helpful information on finding a source for such belts?

Been there done that. Looked everywhere for an item, and was running out of time and options, only to have the light go on and feel a bit sheepish.

If you want cheap, try Harbor Freight. They just don't have very many choices when it comes to grits.

Just ask for the rep that handles the knifemaking belt orders. It used to be John Williams, but he recently retired. Klingspor is a great supplier for abrasives, and will make any belt in any size you want. If you need 33.675X1.125" belts...they will have them shipped in a day or two.

Going through this myself. Jantz supply has them. Up to 600 grit, I think, Catalog is at home.

gator belts are good, worth the extra $1.25 right? I cant believe they have Norton blaze in 1x42, and 2x48, but no 2x42

i bought some 1x30 belts from these folks. they were pretty good! i found them to be better than any of the belts i was able to buy in a store.
