I have a small project that I am working on and I need a piece of 6" x 1" x 1/4" G10 or micarta.

I will also need to do some cutting and gluing of this material. I plan on using a Dremel for the cutting and I would appreciate any information on sources and techniques that you can provide.

G-10 is incredibly tough stuff! I use a variable speed scroll saw to profile, and it eats up blades very quickly. I would recommend starting with one of the micarta laminates. If you're doing the initial profiling with a dremel, try using a cut-off wheel and get the woven kind. They last much longer than the others. A hacksaw works fine also. And please remember all this stuff is VERY bad for your lungs! Wear a respirator. Good luck, let us know how your project goes.:)
