I need one or two new 64 1/2" x 1/2" bi-metal bandsaw blades, 18-24 tpi. Prices seem to be all over the map, as is shipping. What brands would you recommend, and sources please.

Mark Knapp, one of the forum members & super knife maker, sells bi-metal blades.
He made up a batch for me a short while back that I use for resawing.
Man they cut nice and outlast my old blades so long that there is no way to compare.
I was very happy with the blades and the service I got from Mark.

Thanks for the replies. Shipping can be a real bite with some dealers. Any more suggestions?

I have orderd several times from the Tool Center and have been pleased with the delivery time and shipping cost. I got 3 blades shipped for around $75. Not bad since I can't but them locally.

You can check locally at Grainger, McMaster Carr, Home depot did carry replacements for a while but my local no longer carries them, they worked as well as any bimetal.

McMaster Carr reasonable price and little or no markup on shipping. Using one of there blades right now
