Source for black G10/FR4 rod?

Does anyone have a source for black G10/FR4 rod? It seems one can find plenty of G10 rod in the natural color and tons of black G10 sheet but when you ask for black G10 rod there's just dead silence on the phone.

I know it can be special ordered but it would be cheaper to buy gold (about $18.00 per foot for 1/4" dia).

I think Koval has black micarta.
Black g10 rod would be a special run.
Try Accurite plastics in NY.
 
Thanks guys...seems this stuff is really rare. McMaster Carr only carries natural color. Accurite Plastics, as well as a couple of other manuf, decided to "no-quote" me (on any quantity). The folks at Micarta are willing to do it but it's not cheap.

Carbon fiber would be interesting to play with for the visual pattern but for this project I'm looking for something with a pretty high dielectric coefficient.

Just seems kind of odd that, with the availability of colored G10 sheets, there's not one single length of colored G10 rod to be had. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Dan-What have you been up to? Haven't talked to you in a long time. How's the knife making going?

Brian-Meant to give you a call the other day but, like usual, I got busy and never got around to it. I'm going to be profiling a new batch in a couple of weeks. If you're still wanting me intersted in the custom drawing we talked about that might be a good time to work it in.

Colour is black is not normal Colour , and it is a special order , but $ 8 per foot is enough for 1/4" dia

I sell G10 rod with various colours and i do have experiences .

IF it is natural green colour , price is $6.8 , IF Colour is black , Price is $8
