Source for forge pea coal.

Good forging coal is getting tough to find. Both myself and, even more so, a forging buddy in MD are looking for a good coal supplier that will ship. Anyone have a lead? Thanks.
 
Well J. you hit a tough one, unfortunitly for us we live in an anthricite area. the last time I enquired there was a 10 ton minimum delivery although that was for coke. when I was burning bituminus I stopped at a coal yard near pittsburg and picked it up myself, it was $2.00 a 50lb bag anyway try this place, Centrailia coal sales co. in wilkes-barre, 570-822-4135.
 
J go to anvilfire.com and scroll down untill you see the blue link on the left side that says "the coal scuttle" they have listings by the state, phone numbers adressses etc. this s what they have for PA, but sure if its up to date so you can check the web page for places in other close by states. good luck
