I am making up several survival and first aid kits and I need some inexpensive (but quality) bags/pouches for putting everything in. I'm thinking of those nylon bags with compartments and elastic for keeping all the bits and pieces organized. These will be stored in backpacks, cars, etc so they dont need belt loops, waterproofing or any other fancy extras.

Check out your local thrift store.

I set up all sorts of kit by going to the local Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc.

I often find practically new stuff for loke a buck or two.

Better still, get an old sewing machine, spend a little time learning how to drive it, and you'll never look back! I have my Grandmother's old Singer, runs easily through thick canvas. Wonderful old machine.

For what it is worth, I use the old 30 rd. M-16 magazine pouches. They are large enough for a nice little kit, can attach anywhere and very well made. You can pick them up at most Army/Navy stores or at a local gun show.

You could also check out different generic makeup/toiletry bags or totes at any local dept. store. I found one a the Wally World down the street for about $4-5. (found it back by all the travel toiletries)

Just another thought for ya.
