Does anybody know of a source for a rectangular tin made by a company called Olicamp? Everytime I have been on the net and typed the name in I get referred to one of their round food storage cans or a mess kit or stove being sold by a retail company. The thought of spending $17.00 to $24.00 on some of these web sites for the Sigg or similar tins scares me. I would rather put the money into the supplies in the tin. I heard that the Olicamp tin is only about eight bucks. If I can't find it, I have some German butter tins I bought a few years ago just 'cause they looked like I could use 'em for something someday. They are bigger than an Altoids tin, but still drop into a front pocket on my jeans, have a rubber gasket, pin locks, and the plastic liner comes out so you could cook in the tin if you had to. Anybody used 'em? I'll post photos when I finally get this thing built so others can compare or advise if they feel like it. Thanks! :)

Yeah, I called 'em on it when I placed an order the other day and the sales person didn't have the foggiest idea but was willing to ask and found out they get the Olicamp from a distributor and didn't hav any other info.

The beauty of this cup is that it fits over the bottom of a 1 liter Nalgene water bottle like the G.I. cup does the G.I. canteen making a very handy combination. The cup is sturdy and large enough to boil drinking water in.

I'll second that. I once lived out of one in the Grand Canyon for 4 days. If your pack has those web pockets for water bottles, this cup may chew them up a little. The only reason I don’t still use mine is I got a titanium cup to replace it.
