Source for prices and values?

After carrying it for years I managed to lose my 1973 case large stockman. A very sad day. So now I'm looking to find a replacement. There's a few on eBay but I really don't have a clue whether a price is fair or outrageous. Is there a source to help with approximate values?

There are books but the prices are often outdated by the time the books get published. Your best bet for current market value is to do an advanced search on Ebay for SOLD listings. That will tell you what they are selling for right now.
