Source for Shadetree Tomato Red Burlap Phenolic?

I'm looking for a Machete Handle sized piece of Todd's Shadetree Phenolics Red Burlap to use on a project for my stylish sister (regular old Natural Canvas, etc. just won't do!) and Todd seems to be kinda scarce these days. Anybody have a big piece of it laying around or know someone who might?

I've been hearing that he is a tad hard to get hold of these days. So, I'm still open to other sources if anybody has some!
 
Todd's the only one who makes it as far as I can tell. Even though I need to order more, I could get you a set of scales out of the portion of the sheet I have left if you are just looking for one set.

give him a day first :)
 
I tried him on Monday and again now. I've been trying to get some scales from him for several months now. No reply. I think he only does big orders now.
 
I'll be pinging Todd again shortly. if it becomes a big deal, I intend to order a *large* order, and I'll be happy to cut and resell later.
 
Thanks Kyote but I was trying to get a sheet or two of something a bit more on the funky side...

He just replied to my email. You should hear from him soon. Glad to see he is doing well.
 
he makes nice looking stuff
while i make my own from time to time its not the layers style likt that its my "burl" type
 
Bumpin' this one back up - still need a 6"x6.5" piece, at least! More would be great!
 
i dont have any that color but i have a marroon "burl" if your interested
i dont know what your timeline is

Butch, I'd like a piece of that. What size do you have? Loved the Brass/Burlap stuff I got before.

i have a steel box i can bolt together and take apart and its 6x10 and up to 4 inch deep
i use a 12 ton press to squish the mass down inthe form

i can cut most any size from that main block (the main is already cut down a bit from my own use )

so no i cant get you a 6x10 by 1/4 inch
 
can you cut me a piece 1 1/2w by 6 long by 5/8 thick or thicker? stuff looks awesome! I'd love to get my hands on some. can you make me a whole block?
