Has anyone done any business with these folks. I am looking to find some stag so that I may use it in the future and found this site, prices seem real good and they have lots of it, almost too much. Thanks

for drops, that's of course what led the the ban on exportation of Sambar from India. First time since British occupation, and Sheffield's discovery of same; about 1815 or so. Stag, the real thing is just too dear. I'll loan you my search I use for such on ebay; there's plenty to go around.

ps. If you've never used it, Axis is the HEAVIEST, SOLID, BULLET PROOF antler there is. Even more solid in the core than Sambar but (regretably)without that heavy veined exterior at least for the most part.

Not all that easy to find, at least that has been my experince in locating Axis sheds. I had found one source for sheds, but that quickly dried up. I think this guy was selling some that he wasn't supposed to.

Axis is an imported game animal, comes from Asia. Threre's neither a season or limit for them even though they've become "native" so to speak here in Texas and elsewhere. So many have gotten loose from game ranches, they've begun to breed in the wild like crazy and now I see heards of'em crossing the roads out in the hill country everywhere!! As for sheds: they are all legal as far as I know provided it's not a protected or endangered species.

Thanks so much for the ebay links, boy theyve got anything you could ask for if you know how to find it. I appreciate it. I picked up a few pieces from elen importing to put aside until I feel as though I have the skills necessary to not screw it up. I have used plenty of whitetail antler, but I have to come up with a jig to drill it out straight now, and perfect that before I put a piece of sambar on the press. Thanks again
