source for tiger coral???

I have seen this material on quite a few handles lately. I think it's pretty wicked.

Can somebody suggest a source for it and maybe some suggestions on working it?

As to working it - sharp drills and belts, and I finish it with a few coats of Zap-A-Gap.

I have seen some at Texas Knifemakers. Give 'em a call and see if they still any left.

I would suggest that ya give Joe Culpepper a call at the Mother of Pearl in Franklin NC. He is a super nice gent and will be glad to fix you up with some tiger coral, he will also give you any instructions on how to work it. That stuff ain't cheap neither...!

Nick, I got the tiger coral I recently used from Culpepper Pearl. I just looked to see if I could find their phone number but no luck. Maybe someone else will have it.
