Not from Canada that I am aware.

I used to have a can of 99% Deet I think... it had a black cap and a no smoking symbol with a mosquito in the middle.

It would melt the faces of my timex watches.

I think REI ships international. They sell Repel and Ben's with 100%.

Keep it away from children !!!! In fact apply just to clothing not the skin !!

Just ordered some Bens 100% DEET in 1.25 Oz spray bottle. Guess I'll have no more mozzie issues.

This year we had so much rain in Africa (South) that mozzies are 10x more ...... malaria is way up and man, how does a quiet evening in the bush sound with these little Kamakazi fella's at full throttle ;-)

Thanx for all the help.

Regards from Africa

I use Repel 100% Deet alot, only thing that works when the blackflies are thick sometimes. Careful not to get too much on your skin tho LOL

 Bens is some GOOD stuff!

bah, ive used 100% deet on my skin dozens of times, never had a problem. not saying it wont give me cancer in 10 years, though. :o

There are people who chain smoke, work with asbestos without a respirator and melt lead in an enclosed room. Doesn’t mean it’s bright.

In university during veterinary entomology class we were taught that 70% Deet was the most efficient at covering the skin completely at an appropriate concentration; and any higher concentrations tend to "ball up" on themselves leaving large open skin patches that would not repel pests. Take that as you may.

Hmm... interesting. From now on I'll apply, then apply again, then apply again. Hopefully I'll fill in the gaps so when it balls up I'll have a DOUBLE THICKNESS 100% DEET WALL! Take THAT, bugs!! :D:D

Hehe, joking.

Interesting, haven't heard that before.

I've had a bad experience with high concentration deet. I'd rather have a lower concentration and be able to apply it liberally to my skin then only use it on my clothing.

That was my experience. Years ago I bought some 100% DEET from a laboratory supply catalog, but found it hard to spread out for a consistent, thin application. Ended up cutting it about 1/1 with rubbing alcohol.

Not that i expect you all are running around the woods dressed in dayglo lycra looking for the peloton but 100% deet melts lycra.

Bens is great stuff! It will work when nothing else will.
Too bad it doesn't work on those deer flies!
As far as I know, nothing repels those animals!
I would sometimes take my shirt off and soak it in water and then wrap it on my head.
They like to dive bomb on my head, but won't attack my bare back!
I think they're attracted to dark (I've got brown hair) and heat. Some of those deer/black flies take chunks of flesh! Man do those things hurt!!!
