Source of info on discontinued models?

Is there anywhere online I can find out info about discontinued Buck models? Every once in a while I run into a model that can't be found on buckknives.com, and I'd like some info about it. This forum is always a great help, but sometimes I'd like to get the info as fast as possible.

I do not know of such a place although i can certainly see the benefits of one. Some day i hope to have some sort of data base online but that will not be in the near future.
