sources for 2x72 leather belt

I've only ever purchase the 1x42 size - which I'm sure is cheaper....

I'm thinking the 2x72 might be more helpful with longer blades....

Can't remember for the life of me where to get 'em, though.

Dan , I know they exist. I cant remember either. I read somewhere on CKD that they dont track for s@#$ and they stretch. I ordered some of the cork belts after reading about them.

Shefield has them. 2 x 72 leather belt $38. part number ss72. One option would be using a leather wrapped wheel.

But they appear to be undergoing an update at this time. I've got several of their 1x30 leather belts and they are quite nice. I've got a 2x72 leather belt from one of the knife supply places and it's got too many splices in it that are way too bumpy...

I have a 2x72 leather belt from hand american - STRONGLY recommended. Great guy to deal with, really wants knife maker business.

Belt tracks like a dream. Only one splice and was done very well.
