You might try Timken, I know they have 420HC and 440B, and they probably have 440A, I don't know if they're used to selling those steels in small amounts of barstock, however. It looks like 420HC might actually be a better choice as far as corrosion resistance and hardness is concerned, but it's for you to decide. Who knows, maybe even Timken could help you choose?
