South African Assault Pack

Never heard of 'em.One of my best friends is procurement officer at NAVSPECWARCOM...erm..for the non military....Naval Special Warfare Command based in Coronado NAB (Naval Amphibious Base)California. aka: Navy SEALS,Special Boats,EOD,Combat Swimmers/divers,SAR, etc etc..I asked him and he never heard of em either.Suppose you can check google...He says alot of the guys are buying/getting issued some south african backpacks that are supposed to be the 'New' in deal that sets them apart from regular troops..I forgot the name but I think it was Rhino something....

Anyone have any more info on this?

No responses using phrases like, "South Africa rucksack, South Africa pack, South Africa backpack, South Africa bag, and South Africa luggage."

Not for anything, but I would think packs available in the United States from suppliers like Blackhawk, Tactical Tailor, SOEGEAR, Maxpedition, and LightFighter would be technically superior and easier to both find and purchase.

If you're located in South Africa it might be easier to research that local supplier. Woo-hoo, my 500th post!

Seems like there is a company called rhino that makes some paintball aussalt packs but I don't think these are what the SEALs are using? What about the watch band folks, do they make packs?

I own a Tactical Tailor 3-Day Pack, but I'm still curious about this South African one, if it exists.

I'm familiar with the M83 LBE system. I don't think that's it (though who knows?). Maybe it is vaporware.
