The Knife Makers Guild of South Africa show was over the weekend and here are some highlights for those interested.

I could not take photos of every table and mainly focused on folders. Even those I could not get photos of everything before they where grabbed by collectors.

Some of the knives were orders being filled and showcasing a makers work and not for sale.

Neill Schutte. His two years winning Blade's best fighting bowie says enough about his quality. Immaculate.

One of the most stunning pieces I have ever seen.

This thing has everything. Zirconium, mammoth, engraving, Rob Thomas Damascus....just all out drool quality, front flipper IKBS.

Des Horn. He has been working on some new handle textures and by far one one of my favorite working folders remains his Imvubu.

Thank you all for the kind words and glad you enjoy the quick tour.

Thank you for the kind words. I really enjoy your photography of the shows you go to.

Andre Devilliers was not there.

Some real nice talent there.
Any Bauchops on display?

Yes there were. He made a few swords and had a set of the ones in the picture below with the dark finish. One large and small. Picture is not mine.

Thanks for taking the time to post all of these great pics. It's been a while since I've seen Rob Brown's work posted on the forums, so I particularly enjoyed seeing those.

In the pair of Bauchops's you posted (originally from the sablade post), the blacked-out FS is a Warlock, Peter used to make a smaller one too called the Witch- both are still incredibly effective[emoji106]
