This piece is going to take a tour in beautiful South America..... can't wait for pix.

A good gent asked me to make a variation of a "Bagwell-style" Bowie to take on a (business... LOL) trip. The blade is 10" of Gas-rig Cable Damascus (a lot of that going on in PA now). The S-guard with "clam shell tips" is carbon steel with my "antiqued" finish. The handle is an Amber Stag crown with a 3-piece throat/spacers of laminate damascus sandwiched between two fullered pieces of carbon steel with an antiqued finish. The handle is set with a blued, peened carbon steel pin. The whole thing is almost 16".

That is one beautiful bowie! I'm sure the new owner will be very proud to own this knife.
From the awesome stag and clam shell S-guard to the tip of the blade its just an all around killer knife great job.

That's a truly incredible knife, not a single thing about it I don't like. I'm sure it'll make an impression down there.
