truly sweet pic but do you like the knife? Guessing yes since you took the pics to begin with.

I get so caught up in my other hobbies (snakes, photography) I forget to comment on the knives.

yes I like it. well built, smooth action. I'm no knife expert but I do appreciate a good build. being new to all this I think I've been going in over my head with these knife purchases but reading posts, reviews, manufacturers web sites, I've been slowly learning.

being an electrician, I've always carried a blade to work. and now after joining this forum, Ive come to appreciate the craftsmanship, and engineering of these knives.

the southard is really nice.

Sup pinoy you got a Southard already? Thats a great start for your first month of collecting... I cant wait to get mine, its coming. Great pics, share more!

Hi Miknoypinoy,

Welcome to our forum and congrats on the new knife. Knives can be a long learning curve that is deep and wide with much history, geography, dewsign and materials to learn about.

Snake's a beauty. What kind of boa? I was heavy into snakes for many years.

sal

thanks for the welcome. agreed about the learning curve. lots of great info here.

the boa is a sunglow.
hypomelanistic albino. she was produced by me. the pairing was a double het sunglow by albino.

thanks again all.

Yes I am kababayan! I had a king and a green, beginner snakes. The boss wont let me bring one into the house nowadays though. See you in the boards!

Neat looking boa. All I have is a corn snake that I've had for 8 or so years. Bout as big as a corn snake gets. Right around 6 foot long
