Hey guys, as a guy just getting back into knives, I am really impressed by a couple for sure. The ZT 0550, and the Southard. I realize the Southards are hard to get, but are there supposed to be more? I really want one, I guess along with everybody else. Thanks for the input

To my knowledge the Southard is not a limited edition. They should be trickling into stores soon if they aren't already there.

That is what I thought, but then there isn't one to be had. So that kinda leaves a guy lost. Thank you Sir, for the info, I'll keep a lookout.

It seems as though there is a shortage of the popular spyderco models. I've seen southards come up on ebay, but they have a premium on them. Most retailers I've seen have them listed as out of stock. I'd keep an eye out on the exchange or just bite the bullet and grab one from ebay. It's a fantastic knife.

Been waiting for one myself. I foolishly sold mine and have been kicking myself since. There are none to be found at dealers and the occasional one that pops up on the exchange gets snatched up pretty quick. Hopefully they'll be back in stock soon!

I completely understand. However, I have something inside me that resists price gouging. I was sitting really good, before the gun crap started, and therefore didnt have to go pay insane prices for ammo, bolts, uppers, magazines, or anything else AR15. I also understand that I want a Southard. That said, I'll just have to wait until they aren't scarce, and buy 4. Hopefully that isn't years.
