Has anyone had experience with this knife? it looks amazing, but my only concern is the steel. I think they could've done better with that, but then again ive never use that steel. Thanks!

The knife is fantastic in every way, including the steel. It sharpens very easily and holds an edge for quite a long time. In my experience, it reminds me of the M4 steel on my Gayle Bradley.

I personally think that, that steel is quite similar in performance with 154cm in 3 major areas: edge retention, ease of sharpening, and rust resistance. People frown upon it cause it's not a SUPER STEEL, HOWEVER it is a DAMN fine steel and I've no complaints

Everything they said, plus it was bar none the sharpest knife out the box I have ever had. Nice mirror polished edge too..

Thank you for sharing this. As stated in the past I have been beating my drum about these knives for a while! Mine has been incredible!

Everyone we have had in stock has been wicked wicked sharp!

I had the carbon fiber scaled black coated tanto blade. I would compare this knife to an emerson. vault lockup, smooth opening, and dead centered. the fit and finish was gorgeous. Jace

No disrespect to Emerson intended, as I am a fan of his knives also, but I must say the Bad Monkeys that I have had have been better in terms of fit and finish than the Emersons that I have had.

I completely agree. The Bad Monkey is in a whole other class than the factory Emerson knives.
