Southern Grind's short pocket clip?

Anyone carry a Bad Monkey regularly? I like the idea of the short clip but not sure how stable it would be in actual use.

I'd like a shorter deep carry clip on a couple otherwise low profile knives like the Benchmade 530.

I have a Bad Monkey and the clip didnt bother me at all. I carried it pretty regular right after I bought it and never experienced any problems with it. That being said I had a few Benchmade split arrow clips laying around and I put one of those on it. It wasnt for any real functional reason, I just liked the look of the split arrow better.

I have shorter clips on some of my Southards and didn't notice any issues with retention, comparatively. Even on the 0777 clone I have the big knife/tiny clip setup seems to work fine as long as the clip has decent tension.

I carry a BM and at first I didn't trust the clip. But after using it I have absolute faith in it. Been carrying mine since they came out and never once had an issue. If you don't like it, Benchmade and Emerson clips will fit.
