never heard of those until now.i would like to know if he's gonna use the new color scheme on any other models,guess i'll start looking around and let everyone know if i find any
 
I've looked around but cant find anyone that carries them yet.maybe somoene will post soon with more info.
 
A real good friend of mine collaberated this run of knives with Derek at EKI before Derek left EKI. The knives are made out of Strider Coyote G10 and have the thicker (0.065) liners and the thicker (0.125) G10 as the infamous 98's did.

The problem is that only 24 knives were made, 2 with green coated blades and the remaining 22 with tan blades. I would say without a doubt, these knives are the baddest Commanders to hit the knife market. I liked them so much, that I bought the first 6 from the seller. The seller wishes to remain anonymous, and all of the knives have been sold.

As far as I know, this will be the only run of tan Emersons for along time to come, as Derek was the big backer of getting these knives going. And since Strider has the lock on the tan G10, I dont think it will happen for along time. Sorry guys, I just happened to be at the right place at the right time!

And before anyone asks, my knives are not forsale at this time!

They went for $350.00 new, but I have since sold 2 for over $500.00 each. And since the LAPD Commander on ebay (a few days ago) brought $955.00, these Commanders should be worth at least a $1000.00. I have been offered that already for one, but turned it down!
 
If that is (or was) available in Olive Drab ( or green) , I'd spend whatever to own one.

And whatever, (for me), is a lot of money.

I'd love to see a photo of a green Emerson.

they made green G10 commanders, they were fairly common a few yrs ago, there is a green G10 P-SARK for sale/swap in the for swap forum right now, any green G10 EKI is kinda rare these days though, i have a green G10/black coated tanto blade SOCFK myself, they do look pretty cool imho.
