Southwest Bowie

That is some impressive Ash wood. I thought it was Koa - BEAUTIFUL!!! The whole Bowie is impressive!
 
Very nice!!!!! That wood is impressive. I am guessing that ash with that much curl is pretty rare. Now if you could only find a piece big enough for say a two piece bookmatched Telecaster body..................:D

Beautiful! Its proportions and curves are perfect.

It's funny, I was always interested in seeing what your knives were like ever since I first saw the beautiful hamon (at least I think that's what it is) in your profile picture, which to me looks like a cloud covering the sun during a sunset, but unfortunately all of the pictures from your posts over the years were long gone. Anyway, it's great to see you sharing you work here again. BTW, I had to vote for your "curvy stag" Bowie you posted in the 2018 Best Bowie thread, it's definitely one of the coolest Southwest-style Bowies I've seen in a while. I would've voted for this as well had it been nominated in time. :thumbsup: I look forward to seeing more!

Absolutely! We always allow for a transitional exception such as this. Of course, it may be competing against its sibling that Matt will be making for me. :D
