Lately I've been interested in acquiring a Sowbelly pattern knife. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to get my hands on the one that I've been drawn to anytime soon, if at all. The one that has really caught my eye is a 1989 Winchester Utica black jigged bone. With that being said, I'm looking for suggestions. Pictures would be great also. Thanks much!

The Winchester sowbelly is very nice. Rough Rider makes a fine sowbelly also, if you want to test drive the pattern, without making a major investment.

The current Case Sowbelly was designed by Tony Bose.

I bought one in yellow delrin and liked it so much I bought another in chestnut bone. Both are Chrome Vanadium alloy blade steel. If you know me then you know that for me to buy the same pattern twice is highly unusual. But I was very impressed with the design of the knife and with the fit and finish.

The blades are offset, rather than crinked:

Knarfeng, I think that chestnut bone one might hold me over while I search for the Winchester. Thanks for the pics!
