Is their any plans for a colaboration with Steve Ryan for something like a Model 1 crossed with a civilian?

That would be something to see.
 
Triple Aught Design has a picture of the Ryan #1. Decidedly different!

Combine it with aspects of the Civilian and the sheeple will be into immediate convulsive screamfests.

I would like it.

If you look at it, the Ryan #1 blade pretty much is a Civilian, just with a straight tip added. I don't know how you could further 'cross' them.
 
I've been asking (begging?) for a Spyderco /Steve Ryan custom collaboration for a while now. We can always keep dreaming.

I have the CRKT Ryan's Plan B neck knife and like it very much (althogh the steel is 'only' AUS-6M.
The Ryan/Spyderco collaboration would be really great thing.

I think the trick with Spyderco and Ryan would be a Fixed Blade.

Like the one shown in the TK article, bi-symmetrical handle except for a finger indent, straight spine, 5 or 6 inch blade.

You should see his model 3 and model 5. Looks even more like a civilian :)
 
We have no plans to make any designs with Steve Ryan at this time. Steve is licensed to use our hole for customs pieces.

I've heard that he is doing a number of designs with several factories, but the CRKT pieces are the only ones I've seen.
