SP2 tang?

Hello knife people :-)

Does any of you know how the tang on the SP2 air force knife looks like?

Obviesly it is not a true full tang, but how thick is the tang and are the area where the blade meets the handle square or rounded?

Thank you dingy, i think you are right about that.

Now i just would like to know how the transition from tang to blade is. Square corners or nicely rounded like you see on swamprat knives.
 
i got a 499 tang pic from the net , i hope that pic will help you out.

there is no sharp cormer . i think 499 & SP2 are the same thing .

Actually i got a sp2 today and took the handle of. I looks like the 499 but even wider. it is 19 mm wide and full thickness.
And the corners are nicely rounded :-)
