SP6 - love it

Hi to all the OKC fans from Australia,
Just got my new SP6. Haven't really had a chance to test it yet, but will over the weekend hopefully. Why the SP6 and not the FF6: I originally saw a fantastic write up of the FF6 in a knife magazine and began to look at it. My google investigation showed most people were fonder of the SP6 and I couldn't find a single review with any failure. Having played with the new toy a bit, great feel and very happy with my choice.

Thanks for letting us know. I am interested in the SP6 as a fighting knife but just have not pulled the trigger yet. Let us know if anything else goes on with it.


Is the top clip point edge as sharp as the main edge? Was the main edge plenty sharp?
 
Main edge was scary sharp out of the box and the swedge was really sharp also. almost paper slicing sharp. Whole knife felt good straight away and with a 7.5 inch blade, the balance is spot on. So far really impressed.
 
The SP6 was my first big fixed blade and I beat the crap out of it and it asked for more. Awesome steel.
 
I have one of these and think it's awesome. Great feel for the price. Remove the top guard and reprofile the edge and it's a great general outdoors knife.
