My BK2 was my first real knife that wasn't junk and she has seen a lot of use over the past few years, and now that I have the time, space, and tools I figured it was about time to dress her up a bit and refinish her some.

Here she is well used, some rust, grind marks...etc.

The spine is all cleaned up now.

I always hated how the scales never really matched up with the tang.

Time to sand some

After some sanding and some oil they scales were looking mighty fine.

Next up was to put a finish on that blade so I broke out the gun bluing, worked pretty well and then I touched up the edge on her.

After all that work I went and tested her out some, the BK2 made short work of this forest.

Nice job. Taking care of the tools that take care of you. What did you sand down your grips with? The scales on my 10 are also not flush.

They aren't flush since they were made for the bk2 with the pommel. The bk10 is also a camillus blank so the Kabar stuff is a touch off

Damn bro!!!! Nice work on that!!!! How's it feel having all those tools at your disposal?? :)

Love those scales. They looks nice and grippy. I'd trust that BK2 to take care of me in the woods for sure.

LOL!! I'm the guy who asked you about those scales being green on Youtube a few days ago!

Good work, Wider. I really like those file grooves in the micarta.

I really like what you did with those handles. I'm gonna try that texture on Grivory next. Thanks for sharing.
