Can someone give me the info on haw to and where to send in a knife for a spa job. What is the price. I know so many people have asked the same question, but I never paid attention because I never had a use for it. Thanks in advance.

Just go here to the sharpening service. Send the money for sharpening and they'll do the rest, or else they'll contact you with what all is needed.

Call Buck and tell them what you're wanting and they should provide all the direction you will need. From what others have posted they will contact you after they get the knife and tell you what the costs will be, if any.

One additional point to make is to tell them you want the knife back, that it is a keepsake and you want it refurbished. Otherwise if the knife needs repair work, they may opt to replace it with a new one.

Another point I like to keep in mind is that "volume rules." Wait until you have 2-4 to send back, put em all in a flat rate box and do em at the same time. Saves on shipping, shipping supplies and one delivery confirmation covers em all.

I had a 112 re-bladed and cleaned up at Buck and sent back for $10.
