Ok, I have a 703 that could use the small blade replaced.
I got it off the bay, and from the photos i couldn't tell that blade was sharpened down more than I would like.
The blade still has life in it, but I sure appreciate a less used blade.
Do they have blades for discontinued models like this at the spa?
Or do I need to find a used 703 to pillage a blade from?
The other 2 are virtually unused.

Hey Chris, it is unlikely that they have any blades, but you never know...an email to Joe Houser would be a good place to start though...
Having spare knives for parts donors is a great idea too!

Thanks for the reply :)
I suppose I'll need to send an email, and also keep my eyes peeled for a donor knife.
The rest of that 703 is in great shape, so it would be worth the time to do a blade swap if I find a good blade for it.
And I could give her some fancy scales too, while she received the surgery.

I know quite a few 300s are getting to the point of donor parts need to be sent if you want the same knife back. But, I would agree on emailing Joe.

If you have a knife that is just the thing for you, I would watch for a spare one or two. You never know when even evil auction bay will stop having them. Such is the case on ANY yellow handled 300. Even the modern versions have been discontinued. Special scale runs are the same, you see one of the fake impala scaled 301s once in a while but someone asked me the other day where to order one from...........everyone is on there own.

Thanks 300!
Luckily I seem to like most of the models, old and new, but I sure like the 700 series a bunch.

700 series is very classy looking imho. Speaking of the spa my 119 I bought used off the bay may end up there. I was able to get the nicks out of the blade shortly after getting it but for the life of me I cant get a decent edge on it. I think the edge may need to be thinned out or something.
